What is the 90-day AI Uplift?

Donna’s AI Uplift is the 90-day adoption programme included with an active Teams subscription at no additional fee. We start with one practice group and one workflow, prove it on live matters, support repeat adoption and expand only after the value has been demonstrated. The implementation scope and support are matched to your selected plan, AI capacity and participating team.

Is there an annual commitment?

No. Teams can be paid month-to-month and cancelled at any time. AI Uplift continues while your Teams subscription remains active. Annual billing may be available as an optional discounted alternative.

Do we need to replace our current systems?

Accepted Answer

No. Donna initially works alongside your practice management system, document system, Word and existing firm processes. We begin with one workflow, and nothing needs to be migrated or switched off before Donna can demonstrate value.

How many workflows do we start with?

We may identify several opportunities, but we begin by implementing one primary workflow. This gives the firm a clear result to measure. Once it is working reliably, we can add adjacent workflows during the remainder of the AI Uplift.

How does the 30-day Value Guarantee work?

Accepted Answer

Before starting, we agree on one suitable workflow, five eligible matters and an operational success measure, using your firm’s work. Measures may include lawyer time, turnaround, rework, review cycles or capacity; we also measure repeat adoption, output quality and trust. Licences, logins and training completion alone are not treated as success. If your firm meets the participation requirements and Donna does not demonstrate the agreed improvement, we refund your first month’s Teams fee.

What does our firm need to commit?

Your firm appoints an executive sponsor, a workflow owner and at least one champion, and provides a representative completed matter, relevant precedents and five eligible live matters. Donna handles the workflow configuration, onboarding and measurement. The managing partner attends the main decision points, while the workflow owner and champions provide materials and practical feedback. Participating lawyers learn Donna through live work rather than generic AI training.

How does Donna work with our lawyers?

Donna helps the team perform repeatable work more efficiently. It does not remove lawyers from the matter. Lawyers determine the approach, inspect sources, exercise legal judgment and approve substantive legal deliverables before they are used.

What happens after the first 90 days?

Donna provides a commercial impact summary covering value, adoption, quality and recommended next workflows. Your firm can continue expanding Donna month-to-month, maintain its current scope or cancel the subscription without an annual commitment.

What does the free plan include?

The free plan is genuinely free, not a trial. You get AI chat, unlimited Spaces, unlimited users, and 5 daily credits for AI usage. Credits reset every morning at midnight UTC, up to a monthly cap of 30. Once you reach 30 for the month, credits pause until your billing period resets. Upgrade to Pro for more capacity.

How do credits work?

Credits are the unit of AI usage on Donna. One credit = one AI action, like reviewing a contract, generating a letter, or running a workflow. Everything else is free: chat, collaboration, document uploads, and invites.

Can I share credits across my team?

Accepted Answer

Credit sharing is available on Pro and Teams plans. Once you upgrade, credits belong to your organisation. Every team member draws from the same pool, and you only pay for what your firm actually uses.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Accepted Answer

Daily bonus credits reset every day at midnight UTC. If you need more, you can purchase additional credits on demand at any time. You are never blocked mid-matter.

Do credits roll over?

On paid plans, unused credits roll over for 1 month on monthly plans, or until the end of your annual plan. Free plan credits reset each month.
